What affects the price
- Volume: how much you are moving decides the size of the vehicle and crew.
- Distance: longer routes mean more driving time, fuel and, over about 250 miles, possible overnight costs.
- Access: stairs, lifts, long walks from the vehicle and parking restrictions add time.
- Date: Fridays, weekends and month-end are busiest.
- Extras: packing, storage, dismantling and specialist items.
